My Speech, from the funeral:
Patricia Alice Broadbent was known to be a wife, mother, sister, auntie, friend and plenty of other roles. But the one thing she gave her heart and sole into was being the best Grandma she could to Niall, Lydia and myself. Her generous heart filled our lives with love and she never stopped giving. I don't think we could have asked for more of an Angelic person to call our Grandma Pat.
There is a belief that says during your life you will meet a person who has the power to change your fate and I beleive that my Grandma played that part in many peoples lives. She was an Angel that fell from the sky and with the slightest touch she left her mark in our hearts forever. she truly was a gift to us.
My grandma was one of those people who put everyone else first. She had the time for everyone and if she didn't then she would make time. I can guarantee that she loved every person here today and all for individual reasons, weather you are a family member of friend.
Looking back on those cherished memories I feel honoured to be able to say that I was Grandaughter to such an outstanding figure. Even though she is no longer with us physically, I know that mentally she will be by our sides guiding us the right ways, like she would take.
Please always keep this special lady in your thoughts because I know she rests in peace with us all at mind, like always. So I intend to live my life and make her so proud of me by making the right decisions with whatever is thrown my way.
I would like to take this moment to say thankyou to my Grandma Pat. Thankyou for everything you ever did for me. I know I am the girl that I am today because I had you in my life, and for that I am so greatful. May you rest in peace xxx

Well it's NYE so that means another year has gone by, the years are flying by, we still think & talk about you alot and you are always in our thoughts & always will be.
Uncle Ronnie gave the girls £10 each for Christmas which i thought was lovely - so guess what i will go to the M&S sale & do you proud ha ha!!

well pat i had a good drink of brandy on xmas eve just like we did that year when we where in spain but it was not the same with out you its coming up to new year now so i will have another brandy at midnight and look up at the stars because i know you will be looking down at me god love your loving brother derrick

Evie is growing up into a little madam & starts school this year, OMG, we wre looking through some pictures the other day & we got to one of you holding her when she was a baby, she asked who it was & told her Auntie Pat, her reply was Oh yes i remeber her i used to have chocolatr biscuits at her house, he he thats how she remebers you & she knows your in heaven with the Angels & Grandma Wallbank!!!
& Tilly well she is 7 months now you would love her to bits, just like Evie & she is so good!!!
Well we all send love & kisses to you, you are still very much in our thoughts everyday!
We are having a little get together at the weekend & i will have a drink for you!!!

well pat i know i am a day early its now two years since you left us when i got the sad news in spain you been such a great sister mother grandmother and auntie and a great freind to all that knew you you are certanily missed by everyone god love you your loving brother derrick r.i.p good night and god bless
well pat your brother has had a knee operation in a lot of pain but i supose i will get over it and will be walking again soon do think about you every day its that time of year to do tax returns that you were brilliant at still i will do my best online to do them miss you loads loving brother derrick r.i. p

Happy Christmas Auntie Pat,
Another year passed & our second Christmas without you, we all miss you so much.
We have a new addition to the family this year, your great niece Tilly Rose, who is now two weeks old, she looks just like Evie did & i know if you were here you would be spoiling her lol, she has Evie's 1st Christmas bibs on today that you bought Evie!!!!!
Will have a drink today for you & Grandma Wallbank.
